The STEPS registry will be hosted on the ICE GreenTrace platform, operated by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the owners of the NY Stock Exchange.
The STEPS registry will track the lifecycle of the crediting process and include public reports with documentation from initial listing through verification, to the issuance, transfer and retirement of serialized STEPS credits. The STEPS registry will be deployed in the second half of 2026.
